Rosie Hat
I finished knitting a tam style hat for my daughter. The pattern is called Rosie and I knit this along in a class called circular knit lab with Stephanie Japel. I used a bulky yarn called Jiffy from Lion Brand Yarns. I changed the pattern a bit and added an extra twist to one cable for added interest. Unfortunately it is not present in the photos. I used size 7/24 circular needles with the magic loop technique. A really fun, easy knit project I really enjoyed.
My finished pair of steam punkish whimsical fingerless mittens!!!
The green incomplete fingerless mitten was my first attempt that turned out to be too small. I took that one apart and started over. I think my second attempt came out excellent!. I love the two greens together. I made them for my 16 year old daughter but I borrow them.(wink, wink) The gloves match her army green short waist pea coat style winter jacket.
The blueish green mittens with purple thumbs are a pair I am working on for me. My cat Avna loves to help me knit. I am not a fast knitter, at all.
I love this Craftsy class I am now taking called, Mitten and Gloves Galore with Marly Bird. She is an excellent knitting teacher and has a great online teacher personality that is fun and explains the knitting patterns very very well. Kudos to Marly!!!
I like to practice knitting patterns and use the book

I am trying to learn how to double knit. This is my first little swatch.
I have a ways to go to get the pattern to come out correctly.
I am having fun learning this interesting technique.
Lovely Lacy Scarf! This was a project
completed at Craftsy class called Knit Lab with Stefanie Japel.
An excellent class that I highly recommend.
Cute completed Fortune Cookie baby booties and Top Knot hat!
I love this pretty wild rose cotton Serendipity Tweed.
